Along with changing the oil, windshield wiper replacement should be a regular part of a car’s maintenance schedule.  The wipers in a car should be checked and replaced every six months.

To remove an old windshield wiper blade just lift the wiper’s arm off the windshield. Press or slide the release tab connecting the two before pulling to separate. They are easily removed while at right angles to the windshield.
